financial mistakes

I Make Mistakes. I Mess Up. I Fail

I make mistakes. I mess up. I fail. I’ll be honest, I don’t like to admit any of it. As the creator of Money Peach and the author behind the blog you are reading right now, I often believe I can give myself a lot more credibility by telling you I am pretty damn perfect when […]

Bye Bye Student Loans: The 7 Moves to Make it Happen

You’re probably familiar with the staggering stats about student loans today—borrowers now owe more than $1.4 trillion combined. And the 2016 class was the most indebted in history: 70 percent graduated with student loans, and the average balance was $37,173, according to Edvisors publisher and student loan expert Mark Kantrowitz. Odds are, you have some yourself. […]

what is a roth ira

What the Heck is a ROTH IRA

I literally cannot believe I have gone this far without writing about one of my favorite things inside the money world – the ROTH IRA.   Recently I opened this email from a reader: Hi Peach, I need advice on a 401(k) that my husband rolled over to a ROTH IRA. He rolled it over […]

The Best Investment We Have Ever Made

For the past 10 months, I have been wanting to write today’s post. What Changed For Us Over the past year, Andrea and went from saying we were followers of our Christian faith to actually putting action into our belief. Looking back, we were “Sunday Christians” meaning we attended Church around the holidays, prayed only when […]

saving money in your 20s

What Grandpa Taught Me About Being a ‘Cheap’ Millionaire

Last year, I logged into my checking account, 401(k) and brokerage accounts, and realized something startling: By 25, I had managed to save a total of $100,000. Now, 11 months later, I’ve nearly hit $150,000. Seeing that much in my account was shocking. I’d worked for it, but I certainly wasn’t raised with money like […]

What Are People Saying About Money Peach?

“ Your financially guidance has been a life changing experience for us in 2015. To be ending a year with less debt than we began it with (almost gone:), to not have the lingering feeling that our tax refund will be going towards a “credit card hole” we dug ourselves into…AND to be enjoying buying gifts this holiday season because we have a Sinking Fund that has been filled with money for this very reason are just a few of the reasons our lives have changed. We are so excited for 2016 because we can only imagine what it will feel like when we wake up debt free! We appreciate your constant help, encouragement, and push to stay on this path. What we were doing wasn’t working, but this is!

Valuable, 3rd party, unbiased approach to our finances. If I would have made the same suggestion to my husband, he would have looked at me like I had 2 heads. Even if you don’t have very much (or any) debt, Peach has a ton of valuable financial advice!

Having money and having a plan for our money were never in alignment until we started following Chris’s principles. We have been Dave Ramsey “followers” for years but it wasn’t until we started Chris’s plan with all of our personal debt in front of us that the wheels were put into motion.  Money has been a unnecessary stress in our marriage for years because we let it control us. It’s as simple as having a plan! I mean, we weren’t  even  aware that our car could be paid off in a month by just aligning our finances. Talk about a win right off the bat. What a fantastic feeling to know where we stand with our money and we now have a goal to tackle our debt!

I would like to take a second and commend our financial coach Chris Peach.  My wife and I sat down a few months ago and looked at our finances and decided it was time to stop living paycheck to paycheck. We got online and found Chris and what a true blessing it has been.  He has helped us develop a game plan to become debt free. We have already made some changes and we cannot wait to have our debt payed off minus the house within the next year or so. If you or somebody you know is looking for a honest and knowledgable financial coach, Chris Peach is your answer!
